Bungie Day started back in 2007, when its owner Microsoft announced that company would become a private and independent company, and the celebration of the day has gone on since. With Bungie's obsession with the number "7", the announcement, which formally came on October 5th, 2007, its easy to say the independence date of 07/07/07 was more than a coincidence. Yet, we still stand here proud of our developer and the maker of Halo.
Bungie Day is meant to be celebrated, yet the day is still reserved for Bungie's thank you's to its fans. From last year's release of its single free-of-charge map Cold Storage in Halo 3 (remade after Halo: Combat Evolved's map Chill Out), we've come to this year's release: a video. But don't be quick to think on this one. This video gives you the humor of Red vs. Blue AND some new reveals for Halo: Reach's multiplayer experience.

What we noticed in the video: • Hologram (from what's said: blinds the now-moving hologram if used too much) • Blood Gulch returns • Helmets return, change ever so slightly • Falcon! • Warthog with rockets (other appears to have larger MG turret) • New Assassination move • Sniper-like jacket for camouflage (although colored Red) • Lowered weapons for Machinima • More reveals coming this Comic-Con 2010.
