Medal of Honor, a new addition to the first-person series from DICE, EA Los Angeles, & Electronic Arts currently has a beta out-- on the PlayStation 3 and PC. But none to worry; you've waited more than three weeks, so its bound to come. And even better: let's say you don't want to pre-order or you don't have the money to do it now. So, you want in on the multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor? Follow these simple directions to learn how.
Directions on how to earn your chance to play in the Medal of Honor beta
Earn Access to the Medal of Honor® multiplayer beta, presented by DICE (Multiplayer) and Electronic Arts.
• After signing-up and clarifying your email address, you can join the Medal of Honor Beta Access Group, located in the XboxPolis Community. By joining, this will automatically put you into the drawing of the beta keys. Please note that you will not be able to join or even see the group if you're not signed in or signed up.
• Every day (starting Saturday, July 10, 2010 [tentatively]), we'll mail randomly chosen people via XboxPolis.com Messaging AND email. This is ensure you will get the codes, as we have occasional issues with emails that notify users that they received a message on the XboxPolis Community. We plan to give out one a day, maybe two on select days. This giveaway will also last for about a week or two.
• Keep checking back daily to see if you won!
About the beta
This will give you a little on the Medal of Honor® Multiplayer Beta and what you'll see if your chosen.
• The beta originally started on June 21st, but was delayed for the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 version is extended for those who pre-ordered the game (or have a code), but still has not been released yet.
• Beta codes given by XboxPolis.com will first need to be registered at MedalofHonor.com/beta. From there, there will be three options: PlayStation 3, PC, or Xbox 360. Currently though, the Xbox 360 version will not appear, due to the fact that EA has no ability to generate Xbox LIVE codes from a [currently] non-online beta. This option, of course, will be available to you when the 360 beta goes live. This clarifies: Yes, you can use the beta codes you get from us on any of those three consoles.
• Medal of Honor ships October 12, 2010. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB, but is expected to be within the TEEN - MATURE ratings.
UPDATE 1: We will be releasing beta keys when we have a good amount of users that have joined the group. But none to worry, our version of "good amount" is actually a small amount. We should be giving them out around Monday (July 12), possibly Sunday (July 11).
UPDATE 2: We will be releasing beta keys Wednesday and Thursday of this week. After that, we will resume our daily giveaways Next Week (around July 21, 2010). The sooner you join, the better chance you have of winning!
